Mrs. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker who has more than 13 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. She's worked with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of violence from intimate partners. She has been working with Ms. Rivas serves Erie Patients since the year 2019. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Mrs. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team, which works with postpartum and prenatal women, offers trauma-informed therapy to adults, and is a specialist in trauma-informed treatment. Additionally, she provides individual and group counseling, medication assisted treatment and referrals for specialist care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda is able to find shelters for pets in need through her role as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer.
